Information you provide

If you email, call or submit information through a future inquiry form, we may receive your name, contact details and whatever project information you choose to provide. We use it to respond, prepare quotes and deliver requested services.

Website analytics and advertising

This website may use analytics and advertising services, including Google services, to measure visits, advertising performance and actions such as email or phone clicks. These services may use cookies or similar technologies and may receive technical information including browser type, approximate location, referring page and device information.

Pinterest reporting app

Valley Edge runs a private reporting app on the Pinterest API for one client, Salal, a dress shop in Coombs, BC. It signs in only to the Pinterest business account we operate for that shop. It reads that account's own boards and pins, and Pinterest's public trend data for Canada: trending keywords, product categories and featured topics.

We use this data only to write a weekly trend report that helps the shop decide what to stock. The app does not post, run ads, or read any other Pinterest user's account. We do not sell this data, share it outside Valley Edge and the client, or use it for advertising.

Reports are kept in a private code repository that only Valley Edge and the client can see. The access token is stored encrypted and can be revoked at any time from the Pinterest account's settings, which stops all access. To have Pinterest data we hold deleted, follow our data deletion steps.

How information is shared

Information may be processed by service providers used to host the website, communicate with clients, measure advertising or operate the business. Valley Edge does not sell personal information. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.

Retention and choices

Inquiry and client information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the business relationship, legal obligations and recordkeeping. You can restrict cookies through your browser or use the privacy controls offered by the relevant analytics or advertising provider.
